Almonds are one of the most nutritious nuts, and are a rich source of protein, fiber, vitamin E, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, calcium, magnesium and zinc. Today this was one of my snacks, 25 nuts equal one serving, 160 calories, 14g fat, 210mg potassium, 3g fiber, and 6g protein. I had 2 servings, or about 50 almonds.

Tip #1 Don’t eat almonds out of the bag, they are a great snack when eaten in moderation. Count out 25 or 50, you may be surprised by how little that really is, however you may also be surprised by how filling one or two servings can be.

Tip #2 Eat almonds one by one and enjoy the flavor as you chew each one.

Tip #3 Soak almonds in water. This will add flavor.

When soaked, almonds act as protein plus nitrogen. This protein will help your blood sugar stabilize throughout the day. Soaking almonds in water is surely an easy step that can fit into your busy schedule and become a healthy lifestyle change.

Almonds aid in digestion, help enhance your memory, increase libido and enhances sexual performance.

If you eat almonds first thing in the morning, they will set the hydrochloric acid tolerance for the day and provide all-day protein digestion. Almonds are efficiently digested when consumed in this way since stomach acids are concentrated after the night fast.

When there are so many health factors found in almonds the question is not why, but why not, get all the healthy benefits almonds.

Your friend in health,
