This concept is not new, nor profound, but getting people to actually do it has always been the challenge.

For Coach Cobb,it was a challenge worth taking. As he built his coaching practice over the last several years, he knew he wanted to design a method to get people not only to understand how to become healthy and happy—but one that was simple and attainable. Using his unique background in sports performance, functional medicine, integrative nutrition and neuro-linguistic programming Adam designed the FYCmethod.

The FYCmethod is simple: Move Well. Eat Well. Think Well.

It’s not a formula; it’s not a diet; it’s not a workout plan; it’s not a religion—it’s a lifestyle.

That’s the difference and that’s why it works.

With all of these happening in concert—your confidence level increases, your sense of purpose ignites, your relationships flourish, your body becomes stronger, people are attracted to your mind, body and spirit—all of which adds to your happiness and overall health. It’s that straight forward. It’s that simple.

“It’s when you stop multi-tasking life, and start unitasking the moment”

— Coach Adam Cobb

Some people call it exercise, we call it movement. Some focus on the complex, our method keeps it simple. When you focus on exercises to create more fluidity in your muscles it will increase flexibility, improve balance, and increase your energy. When you start to move—consistently—you start to learn how to own your body and become strong and be more confident in your own skin than you have ever been before.

The concept of exercising is not new and the outcome is not either. However, just as our minds require strengthening to embrace life’s difficult situations and decisions, our spirits need centering and calming to create the internal space to grow, our bodies also require tuning and development to keep our energy level highs and insides healthy.

Our method will teach you how to incorporate movement with your everyday activities as well as provide you routines that you can do in the gym or at the leisure of your own home.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?” This is the number one question that Coach Cobb gets asked all the time. The funny thing is—people forget to ask the important questions in between. When do you eat? How much do you eat? What do you eat first or drink first? Do you take vitamins/supplements with your meals or after your meals? Which ones? Why?

Not only do they forget to ask the right questions, they forget to listen to their own bodies. How many people do you know that got diagnosed late in life with a gluten allergy? They finally realized that there actually was a reason they had low energy or felt bloated everyday or better yet, felt depressed after every meal. People…this is not normal!

Nutrition is not just about what you put in your body, it’s also about how your body feels after the meal—that day, the next. Your body is so smart—it will tell you the signs. You just have to listen. We also know that there are so many mixed messages on nutrition out there. We hear them too. What we want to do is simplify. Get you to think about the questions that you normally wouldn’t think of, remind you to listen to your body and best yet, start to embrace pure foods that your body will love.

To Think Well can mean different things to different people—some automatically think spirituality, religion law of attraction and/or mental health. We simply define it as – “What feeds your soul?” or better yet, “What makes your soul sing?”

Wait, you may be saying, already meditated today or I have a spiritual practice or I do some breathing exercises here and there—I am already thinking well.
First off, glad that you are starting to embrace some of the core principles—but it’s more than just one thing or sometimes, here and there, or when I get the moment. Within the FYCmethod there are actually two levels of Thinking Well. At first, it’s when you decide for yourself that you are ready to commit to the life you want—one that embraces movement, digs nutritional discipline vs. dreading it, ensures that the glass is always half full vs. empty—and then making it all part of your lifestyle—period, the end.

The second phase or more appropriate, the Next Level,is when you start to realize that this whole thing is bigger than yourself. It’s when your commitment to Pure living starts to set the tone for your friends, community, family, your family’s family and their health legacy all because you took the time to Find Your Center.

“To think well is mastering yourself, mastering your breathe, and mastering your behavior to permanently change your life”

— Coach Adam Cobb

Being Healthy and Happy Means Different Things to Different People:

  • Feeling and looking years younger to have the energy to do what they want (not just dream about it)
  • Having the focus in your career to be productive (not just busy),
  • Coming home with the intent of making your partner happy (not just bitching and screaming)
  • Having enough energy so that when your children ask you to tell them one more story, you say “absolutely” (not “I am tired”).
  • Getting clearer on where spirituality plays a role in your life (not because you’re forced to, but because you want to).
  • And most importantly, it’s about taking some real time out for yourself and understanding your loved ones will love you even more for it.
